Sales

Channel Director

Must have worked successfully with security, messaging and system integrator partners to drive revenue growth. Sendio is seeking an individual capable of directly engaging and driving new opportunities.  A Proven track record in creation of new groups / programs from initial stages is desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop strategy for VAR, Reseller and Alliance partners.
  • Identify, evaluate, develop and build key alliances and partnerships from scratch with large consulting companies such as Deloitte, CSC, EDS and IBM.
  • Identify, develop and promote specific value proposition within solution and vertical initiatives of key, national system integrators.
  • Identify new opportunities (leads) through efforts with VAR partners
  • Orchestrate and, where appropriate or necessary, take primary control of sales cycles involving VAR and resellers.
  • Work with Product Marketing to assess prospective partners, identify mutually-beneficial value propositions and feasibility analysis, structure and negotiate agreements. Develop and manage go-to-market plans. Establish and manage key executive relationships with partners as well as coordination and management of activitiesContinuously manage and top-grade relationships with all alliance partners.
  • Daily management and development of assigned channel alliances. Development and execution of direct marketing campaigns, consistent and effective prospecting efforts and continuous qualification of pipeline/forecast.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7-10 years experience in developing revenue opportunities with Channel, VAR and Resellers
  • Knowledge and know-how to develop and create new relationships from scratch
  • Proven successful track record with annual quotas in excess of $1M for the past 4 years
  • Experience & proven track record in SI account penetration at selling/presenting to Partner level.
  • Comfortable in selling & demonstrating technical products to large and small audiences
  • Able to structure complex sales campaigns
  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, closing and managing skills
  • Excellent communication, proven presentation/demonstration and customer service skills
  • Previous experience with salesforce.com would be an added advantage
  • Established contacts, within specific SIs, is desired
