Kip Quackenbush

Kip Quackenbush brings a broad range of enterprise software experience to the company. With over 20 years of experience in driving strategy and revenue for public and private companies in leading edge technologies and services sectors, Kip brings operational and sales mastery as well as entrepreneurial spark to Sendio. Before joining Sendio, Kip was EVP of Global Sales at Profitline which was acquired by Tangoe. Prior to ProfitLine, Kip was VP of Worldwide Sales at email security leader Red Condor and managed the transition through its acquisition by Edgewave. Before that, Kip was VP of Worldwide Sales at Akonix, where he grew the customer base from under 200 to over 2,000, which lead to a successful acquisition by Quest Software. Kip also held the role of Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales at Commerce One, the pioneer in e-procurement and e-marketplaces.

Kip began his career at recognized market leaders such as Oracle, Digital Equipment Corporation and Pacific Bell and is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.

Francois Helou

Athenian Venture Partners

Mr. Hélou began advising Athenian Venture Partners in 1998, and joined the firm as a senior partner in 1999 leading the IT investment practice. In addition to his successful venture capital investing track record over the last 15 years, Hélou brings nearly two decades of prior industry operating experience in information technology and communications companies. Currently he represents Athenian as a director on the boards of Manta Media, Comet Solutions, Sendio and Pacejet. Previously, he served on the boards of Chaparral Network Storage, 5×5 Networks, Alloptic, PacketMotion and Cyber-Rain.

Prior to Athenian, Hélou was a strategic consultant to technology firms including Cambridge Positioning Systems and Logica, serving such fields as electronics, banking and wireless telephony. Hélou’s IT operational experience spanned R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, business unit management and strategy development at such companies as Brown Boveri, Compugraphic and, Fujitsu-ICL.

Hélou holds an MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Mitchell Rosich

Athenian Venture Partners

Mr. Rosich began consulting for Athenian Venture Partners in 2000, joining the firm as a partner in the IT investment practice in 2002. In addition to a decade of technology venture capital experience, Rosich has almost two decades of industry experience in product and engineering development, and in the management of three start-up technology companies, including Omnia Communications, which Rosich and his team sold to CIENA for $498M.

Rosich has been awarded 11 computer technology patents for software and hardware, 8 of which have been used in commercial applications. Currently, he represents Athenian as a director on the boards of Manta Media, Comet Solutions, and Sendio. Previously, he served on the boards of Chaparral Network Storage and Candera.

Prior to Athenian, Rosich was Vice President of Engineering for Sandburst Corporation, a fabless semiconductor company he joined as it was raising its first round of venture capital financing. Prior to that, he was VP of Engineering for the Access Systems Division of CIENA, after it acquired another start-up, Omnia Communications, where Rosich had served as VP of Engineering. Previously, he was a founder and VP of Engineering of EasyLAN Corporation. He also was an engineering development director and manager at 3Com and at EMC Corporation. He began his career as an engineer with Hewlett-Packard, Wang Labs, and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Rosich holds BS (with Distinction) and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering, both from Cornell University, and an MBA with High Honors from Boston University.

George Kenney

Shepherd Ventures

Managing Director and co-founder of Shepherd Ventures, George has a strong technical background combined with extensive Wall Street and financial industry experience. George has been a successful manager in rapid growth environments, turning around struggling operations and developing and mentoring high technology companies. He specializes in information systems, semiconductors, components and networking, and pioneered optical recording technology.

Before forming Shepherd Ventures, George was CTO and Partner at Nicholas-Applegate, a money management firm in San Diego, where he directed the technology infrastructure expansion necessary to grow the company from a local presence to a network of international locations. Prior to Nicholas-Applegate, George was CTO and Managing Director at Kidder Peabody in New York City. Previously he held top information technology positions at Swiss Bank, Salomon Brothers and the American Stock Exchange. As Director of Research for North American Philips and co-founder of Digital Measurements Corp., George obtained numerous US and foreign patents.

George holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University, an MSEE from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, he attended the Optic’s Program at London’s Imperial College and is a graduate of Harvard University’s Industrial Management Program. A noted technology futurist, George has been a keynote speaker at financial conferences on The Future of Technology. He has served as a Trustee for the San Diego Museum of Art and as pro-bono Chairman of the museum’s Investment Committee. He has also served on the Board of Governors of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies and is currently a board member of several technology companies.

Adam Meislik

Adam Meislik joined GlassRatner in 2012 as a Senior Managing Director. Adam leverages his accomplished career, spanning twenty years in restructuring and corporate finance, into various roles for his clients, including Financial Advisor, Investment Banker, CRO, and Expert Witness in complex litigation matters. His clients have run the gamut, including companies, bank lenders and other secured and unsecured creditors, buyers, sellers, bankruptcy counsel and litigators, all in the context of workouts, insolvency proceedings, fund raising, M&A, and litigation. He provides expert testimony concerning transactions, intangible/intellectual assets, valuation, solvency, and reasonably equivalent value issues

Prior to joining GlassRatner, Adam was a Principal with XRoads Solutions Group. He spent half his career at CIBC World Markets and its predecessor, Oppenheimer & Company where he led numerous multi-disciplinary teams on large capital markets, M&A, and restructuring assignments. He also co-established CIBC’s Houston-based energy practice and helped establish CIBC’s software practice. Prior to CIBC, Adam worked in the energy groups at Jefferies and Howard Weil.

Adam also serves as a director of public and private companies. Currently he is Chairman of the Board at Evantix, a GRC company, and board director of ten-year-old Orange County-based Sendio, an email security provider. Adam previously served in a board-level role to Lateral Data, an e-discovery software company, prior to its July 2012 sale to Xerox.

Adam majored in finance and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Management from Tulane University in 1993. He holds FINRA Series 24, 79, and 62 licenses. Adam is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
