// THE PROBLEM //

Your email security does its job.
The remaining 41% is the problem.

Unwanted newsletters

The ones you signed up for once. The ones you didn't. Either way, they don't stop arriving.

Persistent marketing

The fifth follow-up. The "circling back." The vendor who won't take silence for an answer.

Annoying invites

Webinars, drop-ins, "quick syncs." Calendar pollution disguised as networking.

First-time senders

Strangers reaching out cold. Some are real. Most aren't. You shouldn't have to sort them.

// THE SOLUTION //

Sender status changes only when the recipient says so.

Opt-Inbox sits between your existing email security and the user’s mailbox. Approved senders deliver. Unknown senders wait. No probability scoring and no machine guessing. Every decision is deterministic, made by the person who owns the inbox.

Inbound mail Existing security M365 | PROOFPOINT | MIMECAST SENDIO / OPT-INBOX Approved → deliver Unknown → hold Blocked → never seen Inbox Only mail you said yes to DETERMINISTIC Holding queue Review on your schedule USER-CONTROLLED Silently rejected No bounce, no clutter PERMANENT
STEP 1 — CLEAR

Security clears the message

Whatever runs today (O365 Defender, Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda, Sophos, etc.) keeps doing its job. Opt-Inbox doesn’t replace it.

STEP 2 — CHECK

Sender identity is verified

Approved senders deliver immediately. Unknown senders wait in a clean queue. Blocked senders are dropped silently.

STEP 3 — DECIDE

Only wanted mail arrives

Recipients approve or block once. The decision holds until they change it. Deterministic and 100% self-managed.

// FAQS //

Common questions,
direct answers.

Is Opt-Inbox a spam filter?
No. Spam filters decide whether mail is dangerous. Opt-Inbox determines whether the mail you’ve been “given” is actually wanted. Opt-Inbox runs after your spam filter and removes legitimate-but-unwanted mail.

Indirectly, yes. By holding unknown senders, Opt-Inbox neutralizes social engineering attempts that bypass traditional filters — including spear-phishing, BEC, and pretexting from first-time senders.

That’s the recommended setup. Opt-Inbox is designed to complement existing security tooling — Microsoft 365 Defender, Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda, and others. No rip-and-replace required.

It doesn’t decide — you do. Recipients approve or block senders once. Outbound mail you send automatically trusts the recipient. Directory contacts are pre-approved. Everything else waits for your explicit decision.

Three ways: (1) you reply to or email someone (auto-approved), (2) they’re in your company directory (auto-approved), (3) you manually approve them from the holding queue.

Their message is held in a clean queue, separate from your inbox. They don’t get a bounce. You review the queue on your schedule — typically once a day, takes about a minute.

Customer data shows about 20 minutes saved per employee per day — roughly 50% reduction in inbound volume, with zero loss of wanted mail. Most users review the queue once daily.

You can, but you don’t have to. Opt-Inbox can deliver a once-daily digest of pending senders directly to your inbox. Approve, block, or ignore — all from one summary.

Pre-approve them once at the admin level (by domain, sender, or pattern) and they bypass the queue entirely. Critical operational mail is never delayed.

Yes. Block decisions are deterministic and permanent. The blocked sender will never reach your inbox or queue again — and they never know they’ve been blocked.

No. Each user maintains their own decisions. Admin-level pre-approvals (e.g., key vendors) apply to everyone, but personal trust lists are private.

Yes — reduced phishing exposure, lower help-desk volume from email-related tickets, and meaningful productivity recovery. Most customers see ROI within the first quarter.

No. Opt-Inbox supports phased rollout by team, department, or domain. Most customers start with a pilot group and expand after 2–4 weeks.

Yes. The holding queue is accessible via web, mobile browser, and an optional summary email — no separate app required.
